Please be in a quiet space where you can be heard clearly

Please silence all televisions, radios, cell phones, noise-making devices, and, if necessary, air conditioning units and/or fans, etc.

Please be sure that you choose a space that has a clean, organized background

Please make sure you are in a well-lit area where the main source of light is in front of your face

Please remember to make all people around you aware that you are about to record and will require complete silence

FRAMING:

Use a phone stand, or something similar, to prop your phone up horizontally for a landscape view

It is recommended that you have someone else record you with a phone or camera

If you have someone else record you, please have them use a device stand to ensure the camera is still and focused

Center yourself in the middle of the camera’s view

Adjust your phone or camera to record from just above the top of your head to the chest area (see image below)

RECORDING YOUR VIDEO

Once you press record, pause for 2 seconds before talking

Remain looking at the camera and smiling for those 2 seconds before starting and ending the video

Before you end your recording, pause for another 2 seconds
